Finance executive to join Santam

FINANCIAL services group Sanlam yesterday said its personal finance chief executive Lizé Lambrechts would leave the company at the end of December 2014 to take over as chief executive of Santam with effect from January 1, 2015. Lambrechts will succeed Ian Kirk, Santam’s former chief executive. The company said Sanlam would announce Lambrechts’ successor in due course. Meanwhile, Sanlam group economist Jac Laubscher stepped down yesterday, he said in a statement. “I will still be involved with Sanlam on a limited scale as economic adviser,” he said, adding that Arthur Kamp will comment on economic matters. – Staff Reporter
