WEST Ham midfielder Sofiane Feghouli’s red card against Manchester United has been rescinded by the FA – the fourth time the club has been proved right in five appeals. The others were two for Cheikhou Kouyate and Mark Noble against Liverpool in August 2015.The only red card that stood was James Collins’s in the October 2015 defeat by Watford. Feghouli, who made his first start of the season in Monday night’s 2-0 defeat by Manchester United, was sent off by Mike Dean following a collision with Phil Jones and faced a three-match ban. But the Algerian will be available to Slaven Bilic when he names his team for the FA Cup third-round tie with Manchester City tonight. West Ham chief executive Karren Brady confirmed the successful appeal on Twitter, saying: “I have just received a call to confirm Sofiane will not be required to serve a three-match suspension and is eligible to play on Friday.”
