No dirty laundry here

The Star Early Edition - - WORLD -

BRANGELINA fans must be fuming and cursing under their breaths at news that Hollywood pair Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have decided to keep their splitville documents under lock and key.

Divorce cases are usually marred by mudslinging, with couples throwing every bit of intimate and embarrassing information about their soon-to-be exes out into the open.

Think Johnny Depp and Amber Heard, whose divorce hogged headlines last year, with Heard obtaining a restraining order, accusing Depp of domestic violence.

Then there was former Beatle Paul McCartney and Heather Mills, whose divorce was muddied with allegations of physical and drug abuse, with McCartney dismissing Mills as a nut case. Their settlement was also made public.

But the Brangelina pair want none of their dirty laundry aired in public.

They must be commended for doing all they can to ensure their split does not have a damaging impact on their six children.
