Visit Israel to see the truth

The Star Early Edition - - LETTERS - David E Kaplan

METHINKS the ANC doth protest too much.

It “notes anger” over the leader of the opposition visiting Israel, while it registers no “anger” at its failures at home – notably rampant corruption.

It is imperative that South Africans visit Israel and see it for themselves. This the ANC does not want as it would expose their lies.

Has the ANC forgotten that it has an ambassador in Tel Aviv promoting bilateral relations? How does this gel with its statement displaying clear anti-Semitic overtones?

The ANC should not expect its “fellow South Africans” to be suckered. Look where it’s taking them – it has inconsistent foreign policy and an education system that is an embarrassment. The one thing South Africa so proudly traded on – its moral stature inherited from Mandela – is now on the same trajectory as its currency.

South Africans should follow the lead of the DA’s Mmusi Maimane and visit Israel.

There is nothing more liberating than the truth. Kfar Saba, Israel
