Where do these debits come from?

The Star Early Edition - - NEWS -

KINDLY explain to me how, between September and December last year, there magically appears unpaid debits on my DStv account from prior periods?

When I asked for a statement of my account in September, there were no such outstanding amounts.

But suddenly when I query the additional amounts going off my account after the contract should have ended, there magically appear some unpaid bills?

Please advise how this fits into the Generally Accepted Accounting Practice system? Surely this is not legal?

I’m eagerly awaiting your explanation.

I also want to mention the unlawful listing on TransUnion ITC for the Explora (which was paid up to date).

I am a financial manager and this negative credit rating has caused me to forfeit a new position that I had applied for.

With regards to the wi-fi connector that was returned in October 2015, I am still being debited at R29 a month. Even though I sent numerous e-mails and made numerous phone calls, this was never cancelled.

It has cost me R180 per returned debit and, after four months, you still kept putting the debits through, even though they were returned.

Now I have not only paid for the connector, you also keep charging me for something I do not have.

I spoke to your agent on November 24, and he assured me the contract would be cancelled and that I would receive confirmation thereof.

I’m still waiting and more debits have since come off my account. L Kittel Georgie: DStv did not respond at the time of publication.
