Record tourism for Western Cape

YESTERDAY data showed that the Western Cape enjoyed record tourist figures this past holiday season, with nine out of ten star attractions showing growth. With the 18th Cape Town International Jazz Festival being held from March 31 to April 1 the province continues to draw the tourists. Executive Mayor of Cape Town, Patricia de Lille, said: “Every year the (jazz festival) gives us the opportunity to consolidate our position as the events capital of Africa, and brings a national and international audience to our world-class acts.” See Page 18
