Murry left out of the Davis Cup squad

The Star Early Edition - - SPORT -

WORLD number one Andy Murray has not been named in Britain’s Davis Cup squad for the opening round away to Canada next month but could yet join the team. British captain Leon Smith said yesterday that Kyle Edmund, Dan Evans, Jamie Murray and Dominic Inglot would make up the four-man team but left the door open for Murray to join later. Murray was stunned in the third-round of the ongoing Australian Open by German underdog Mischa Zverev and said he needed time to consider whether he would play for the 2015 champions in the 3-5 February tie in Ottawa. Britain won the only previous Davis Cup meeting between the teams in 1967.
