Service not all it’s cracked up to be
I AM absolutely flabbergasted with the pathetic service I am receiving from Telkom Mobile in Pavilion in Durban.
My Samsung Edge, purchased last September, was left for repairs on May 26 for a cracked screen after an attempted theft.
I only got an SMS a week later informing me of a quote of about R6 000 as it was out of warranty. No reasons were provided so I hounded them without success until I got an e-mail. It’s not yet even a year so how can it be out of warranty?
No proper reasons are being provided by them. Will the warranty not cover the crack? PA Maharaj
