RAMALLAH: The Israeli-con­trolled Al­lenby Bridge bor­der cross­ing be­tween the oc­cu­pied West Bank and Jor­dan is set to be opened for 24 hours, five days a week start­ing on June 20, ac­cord­ing to the Karama In­ter­na­tional Cam­paign for the Move­ment of Pales­tini­ans.

A spokesper­son for Co­gat, the Israeli agency im­ple­ment­ing Israeli poli­cies in the oc­cu­pied Pales­tinian ter­ri­tory, con­firmed the open­ing be­tween June 20 and Septem­ber 10.

The bor­der cross­ing serves hun­dreds of Pales­tini­ans daily, as those liv­ing in the oc­cu­pied ter­ri­tory are gen­er­ally un­able to use Tel Aviv’s Ben Gu­rion Airport. . Ma’an –
