Somalia bomb kills 15
MOGADISHU: At least 15 people were killed and scores injured in a bomb explosion that hit the Wadajir district headquarters in the Somali capital yesterday.
Internal Security Ministry spokesman Ahmed Mohamed Mohamud said a vehicle loaded with explosives detonated inside the headquarters and destroyed houses nearby.
Ambulances rushed to the scene and took the wounded to nearby hospitals. Terror group al-Shabaab has claimed responsibility for the attack. Most of the casualties were reported to be civilians who were near the scene at the time of the car bomb explosion. Xinhua
