MOSCOW: Rus­sian Pres­i­dent Vladimir Putin’s spokesper­son says the Krem­lin is unaware of a meet­ing be­tween Don­ald Trump’s se­nior staff and a Rus­sian lawyer dur­ing the 2016 cam­paign with the Rus­sian re­port­edly say­ing she had in­for­ma­tion about Hil­lary Clin­ton.

Pres­i­dent Don­ald Trump’s el­dest son changed his ac­count at the weekend of the meet­ing with a Rus­sian lawyer dur­ing the 2016 cam­paign, say­ing Natalia Ve­sel­nit­skaya told him she had in­for­ma­tion about Clin­ton. One day ear­lier Don­ald Trump jnr made no men­tion of Clin­ton. Putin’s spokesper­son Dmitry Peskov said the Krem­lin didn’t know who the lawyer was, and the Krem­lin “can­not keep track” of ev­ery Rus­sian lawyer’s meetings.
