DANIEL Schwartzkopff (28) cur­rently serves as com­mer­cial di­rec­tor and co-founder of DataProphet, a rapidly grow­ing busi­ness that im­ple­ments pow­er­ful ma­chine learn­ing models trained on a dor­mant com­pany as­set: its data. He is a busi­ness ex­ec­u­tive with firm start-up ex­pe­ri­ence and a proven back­ground in the tech­nol­ogy sec­tor. He pre­vi­ously founded FSMS, a VC-funded tele­coms start-up with more than 400 000 reg­is­tered users where he first found a pas­sion for us­ing ma­chine learn­ing to dis­cover rich in­ter­ac­tions and ex­tract value from mas­sive datasets. In 2014, on the eve of the Fifa World Cup, he founded BetVIP, the world’s first li­censed bit­coin only sports­book and casino, which was sub­se­quently ac­quired. He is a grad­u­ate of the Univer­sity of Cape Town, where he stud­ied Chem­i­cal En­gi­neer­ing. He spends his time be­tween Cape Town and the DataProphet satel­lite of­fice in San Fran­cisco, and trades crypto currencies in his spare time.
