Pyongyang warns US

The Star Early Edition - - WORLD -

LESS than a month after its first intercontinental ballistic missile launch on July 4, North Korea has fired off another.

The North referred to the test as a warning to the “beast-like US imperialists”. State news agency, KCNA, said it sent “a grave warning to the US” that it “would not go scotfree if it dares provoke”.

Pyongyang described its weapons programmes as a “strategic asset that cannot be bartered for anything” which puts on display the North’s “tremendous might”. “If the Yankees brandish the nuclear stick on this land again... we will clearly teach them manners,” KCNA warned. teleSUR
