Nigeria recovers bodies
ABUJA: The Nigerian Army early yesterday said 21 additional bodies of an oil exploration crew, ambushed by Boko Haram members in the country’s north-east, had been recovered.
The army also recovered vehicles and various calibres of weapons in an operation to rescue the ambushed oil exploration crew last Tuesday, said Sani Kukasheka Usman, the army spokesman.
The bodies recovered included five soldiers who gave security back-up to the crew, 11 civilian selfdefence force and five members of the national oil corporation.
