TOTTENHAM Hotspur look to get their season back on track this weekend as Chelsea and Liverpool strive for perfection once again.

Two straight Premier League defeats and a late Champions League collapse at Inter Milan left Tottenham with their first threegame losing streak since 2014.

Despite the struggles, manager Mauricio Pochettino is backing his side to respond at Brighton tomorrow.

“It can happen in football, you ■ can only fix that by working harder than before,” he said. “We need to review and try to improve.

“It’s so difficult to win, now in that negative period the most important thing is to be calm and assess in the best way and understand why and help the team to bounce back again.

“The next game is another opportunity to win and stop that period of negativity.”

The perfect starts of Chelsea and Liverpool mark the first time since 1908 two teams have won their opening five games in an English top-flight season. next season. The likes of Telkom Knockout and the Nedbank Cup, they always come. We’ve already qualified for them. You don’t have to worry about those. You must win the big ones. You must go for grand slams. There’s tournaments and there are grand slams,” he added.

Sundowns qualified for the next edition of the Caf Champions League by winning the league last season.

Mosimane also reflected on their whirlwind two-match ‘tour’ of KZN with the win over Arrows following a thrilling 3-3 draw with AmaZulu.

“We’ve got four points out of six plus we scored four goals. (Of course) we don’t look that convincing.

“If you really look at it, after five games we’ve kept three clean sheets. I don’t think it is bad for our supporters here. They saw four goals in two matches,” he explained.
