The Sunday Independent - - SUNDAY MAGAZIN -

Of all mankind’s achievements, space travel is among the most remarkable. In the quest to understand where we came from, where we’re going and where we stand in the universe, no organisation represents this human curiosity more than Nasa. Coinciding with its 60th anniversary, award-winning film-maker – and niece of President John F Kennedy – Rory Kennedy explores the historic institution that went to the moon, the surface of Mars, and the outer edge of our solar system. As well as examining its triumphs and tragedies, the film explores the vital role Nasa has played in measuring the health of planet Earth itself.
