BOTHA is a real “boere seun” having grown up in the Klein Karoo. On his culinary journey, he finally ended up making Paris his home. In the French city, cooking with fire has largely been forgotten, and the warm and knowledgeable author has embraced showing the French the way to embrace SA’s own national pastime. His lively narrative offers recipes with a magical mix of how we do it here, along with brilliant French flair.
