Bet on All Blacks to beat Boks by a spread of 4 to 13 points

The Times (South Africa) - - Sport The Odds -

● The Springboks showed good character by coming from behind to draw with the Wallabies last weekend. The concern, however, was the below-par display of South Africa’s No 10, Elton Jantjies and if we have a repeat of that performance against the All Blacks this weekend in New Zealand we are going to be on the end of a beating. I think the Boks will give a good account of themselves, but believe the world champions will edge them out. All Blacks to win by a spread of four to 13 points.

We had a full fixture list of European football in midweek, and this can present challenges for teams who play in midweek and then have to play again over the following weekend. Taking this into account, our three Value Bets of the Weekend (our success rate for these selections is over 80%) are:

❍ Newly promoted French Ligue One team, Amiens to win or draw against a struggling Marseille team, who played in Europe yesterday, at fair odds of 8-10;

❍ Eintracht Frankfurt to win at home, where they have a good track record, against Augsburg in the Bundesliga, at 8-10; and

❍ Juventus to win away at Sassuolo in the Italian Serie A, at good odds of 5-10. The only concern is possible fatigue after they were

MIKE RECOMMENDS:

R216 permutation for the Soccer 6 Pool Saturday

16 September (S6 V3 P1) is: M1 = 1, 2, 3; M2 = 1; M3 = 3; M4 = 1, 2, 3; M5 = 1, 2; M6 = 1, 2. R240 permutation for theRugby 5 Pool is on Friday

15 September (R5 P1) and the selections are: M1 =

3, 4, 5; M2 = 3, 4; M3 = 1, 2; M4 = 2; M5 = 1, 2. soundly beaten in a Champions League fixture in Spain, 3-0 by Barcelona in midweek.

This treble gives you a potential return of close to 4-1.

On the local scene, the game of the weekend in the PSL is the clash between Kaizer Chiefs and champions Bidvest Wits. I fancy the draw here at odds of 22-10.
