Brad Wernli,

The Witness - Wheels - - MOTORING -

the inventor of the Sbyke, calls this creation on the left ‘the next step in the evolution of the kick scooter’. It’s official name is the P16 Sbyke and Wernli designed this one for ages four to seven. It sells for £99,95 (R1 720). Although it looks a little like a bike, a skateboard and a scooter all mixed together, Wernli says his creation mixes the best attributes of each and combines them into something totally unique. To steer requires leaning the front wheel into the turn, at which point the rear axle will follow. As the company states on its website: ‘You really have to experience it yourself to understand.’
