Tribute to a rally legend — the Czech way
Top Czech designer Petr Novague and Marek Hoffmann, CEO of auto-body manufacturer Kovovýroba Hoffmann joined forces to remake the Skoda R130 RS, a car that became a legend among Czech rally fans in 1975. They used an Audi R8 to base their ‘Hoffmann-Novague R200 Non-Fiction’. But its fans can just call it the Erko. The car will be on display at the DOX Centre for Contemporary Art in Prague until May 11 and it can be ordered. But with a starting price tag of 255 000 (R3,3 million), there may not be many takers.
