Rally sprint champs

The Witness - Wheels - - MOTORING - DE­BRA DE WIT

ROUND 2 of the 2015 pro­vin­cial rally sprint cham­pi­onship saw a nice field of 16 cars and bikes on the start line.

The event on April 25 was staged along four rounds of 10,5 km, with Chris de Wit and nav­i­ga­tor Brian Clifton again se­cur­ing a win in their Class S3 Toy­ota Con­quest.

They were only three sec­onds ahead of Alan Hooper and Ash­ley Scott in a Toy­ota Corolla, who raced Hooper and De Wit hard through­out all four rounds.

Tak­ing Third over­all in the car sec­tion — in their VW Polo were Ber­tus Labuschagne and Peter Chad­wick.

The quad bik­ers were out in full force once again hang­ing around the tech­ni­cal course in style.

Nickey Botes took the quad win on his EVO Eraser fol­lowed by Hugo Timmermann and then Mathew Hendey in third spot.
