Honda’s stylish HR-V cross­over avail­able for test in Pi­eter­mar­itzburg

Honda’s cross­over HR-V is al­ready avail­able for test drive in Pi­eter­mar­itzburg, with ei­ther the 1,5 (88 kW/105 Nm) or the 1,8 (105 kW/172 Nm) petrol en­gine; both linked to the front wheels’ con­stantly vari­able trans­mis­sion (CVT). Depend­ing on model, the new HR-V’s in­te­grated in­fo­tain­ment sys­tem is con­trolled via a five-inch mon­i­tor, or a seven-inch colour touch­screen dis­play. Both sys­tems fea­ture Blue­tooth con­nec­tiv­ity for hands-free tele­phony and au­dio stream­ing, USB con­nec­tions, a CD player, and mul­ti­ple speak­ers. The HR-V 1.5 Com­fort re­tails for R299 900, with the 1.8 El­e­gance cost­ing R354 900. The price in­cludes a three-year or 100 000 km war­ranty, a four-year or 60 000 km ser­vice plan, and a one-year AA road­side as­sis­tance pack­age. Ser­vices are at 15 000 km in­ter­vals.
