Renault solidifies an already powerful performance
RENAULT said its latest duo of Clios, the 88 kW Expression turbo edc and the 66 kW Blaze turbo limited edition, are priced right and set to boost an already powerful b-segment performance.
And peace of mind motoring is assured with Renault’s industry-leading five-year or 150 000 km mechanical warranty, a three-year or 45 000 km service plan and a six-year anti-corrosion warranty.
The Blaze boasts Blaze-specific interior colour detail, leather steering wheel and gear lever, exterior Blaze badge and revised 15-inch wheel covers. The Expression adds a seven-inch touch-screen multimedia system with on-board navigation, leather steering wheel and gear lever, manual air conditioner, 16-inch alloy wheels and front fog lights.
The recommended retail pricing starts at R234 900 for the Expression while the Blaze lists for R179 900, but it is a buyers’ market and local dealers are bending over backwards to accommodate sales with discounted extras like metallic paint, an option at R2 500, or a touch-screen SatNav at R6 000, which integrates with the Renault Bass Reflex sound system and provides Bluetooth connectivity.
