N3TC PHOTO COM­PE­TI­TION FOR 2016 NOW OPEN

THE N3TC has an­nounced its an­nual photo com­pe­ti­tion, with two R5 000 first prizes in a to­tal purse of R16 000 to be won.

The pri­mary aims of the com­pe­ti­tion are to pro­mote the vicin­ity of the route and to en­cour­age pho­tog­ra­phy as a hobby, es­pe­cially among lo­cal com­mu­ni­ties and schol­ars. All en­tries must be ac­com­pa­nied by the of­fi­cial com­pe­ti­tion en­try form, one en­try form per pho­to­graph, which can be down­loaded from the N3TC web­site www.n3tc.co.za. The com­pe­ti­tion closes on July 31, 2016 and en­tries re­ceived af­ter this date will not be ac­cepted.

SOME COM­PE­TI­TION RULES:

• Pho­tog­ra­phers can en­ter a max­i­mum of two pho­to­graphs per cat­e­gory: a. Arts & Cul­ture; b. Sport & Recre­ation; c. Wildlife, Fauna and Flora; d. Land­scape; e. Al­tered Im­ages; and f. Scholar.

• Pho­to­graphs must be taken in the near vicin­ity of the N3 Toll Route and should prefer­ably be sup­plied in dig­i­tal for­mat at at least 300 dpi.
