This is what hap­pens when a Nas­car car drives into a bar­rier wall at 265,5 km/h. Nas­car racer Brad Ke­selowski said his back brakes failed and the front brakes locked up dur­ing test­ing at Watkins Glen. He crashed full tilt into the guard rail, but thanks to the manda­tory roll cage and chest straps, he tweeted that he walked away un­hurt. At which point Wheels al­ways asks, if air bags worked as ad­ver­tised, why don’t race cars use them?
