DEZZI HOSTS KZN ROAD RACING CLUB CHAMPS
THE fourth round of the KZN Road Racing club championship takes place at Dezzi Raceway on Saturday.
Motorcycle classes include the 100cc class for riders from seven years old to the 1 000cc Superbikes in the Formula Extreme class.
Car classes include the time attack for road cars and new drivers to the Super GT Class for racing Porsche’s, V8 Cobras and the like.
Riders and drivers briefing is at 7 am on May 20, followed by qualifying. Racing should get under way around 10.30.
Subscription fee to join the KZN Road Racing Club is R200 for two family members or R150 for a single member.
As per Motosport SA rules, previous racing experience is not a requirement and new competitors are most welcome, but members must arrange to get track day experience before racing to ensure the safety of the new entrant, as well as the rest of the competitors. — WR.
