DEZZI HOSTS KZN ROAD RAC­ING CLUB CHAMPS

THE fourth round of the KZN Road Rac­ing club cham­pi­onship takes place at Dezzi Race­way on Satur­day.

Mo­tor­cy­cle classes in­clude the 100cc class for rid­ers from seven years old to the 1 000cc Superbikes in the For­mula Ex­treme class.

Car classes in­clude the time at­tack for road cars and new driv­ers to the Su­per GT Class for rac­ing Porsche’s, V8 Co­bras and the like.

Rid­ers and driv­ers brief­ing is at 7 am on May 20, fol­lowed by qualifying. Rac­ing should get un­der way around 10.30.

Sub­scrip­tion fee to join the KZN Road Rac­ing Club is R200 for two fam­ily mem­bers or R150 for a sin­gle mem­ber.

As per Mo­to­sport SA rules, pre­vi­ous rac­ing ex­pe­ri­ence is not a re­quire­ment and new com­peti­tors are most wel­come, but mem­bers must ar­range to get track day ex­pe­ri­ence be­fore rac­ing to en­sure the safety of the new en­trant, as well as the rest of the com­peti­tors. — WR.
