CONTINENTAL has built a demo robo-taxi to enable driverless mobility in cities. Named the Cube, for Continental Urban mobility Experience, the selfdriving vehicle is currently undergoing trials at Continental’s Frankfurt plant. Better known for its tyres, the company said it also has vast experience in sensors, control units, software algorithms, braking systems and powertrain technologies to apply on robo-taxis.
The Cube will be on show at the Frankfurt Motor Show from September 14.
