OPPORTUNITY FOR YOUNG ENTREPRENEURS
THE 2017 Toolkit BUSINESS/PARTNERS Business Plan Competition for Aspiring Young Entrepreneurs will again provide an opportunity for young and ambitious individuals (18 to 35 years) to try their hand at entrepreneurship.
The competition, entries for which close on July 31, offers cash prizes and free mentorship from leading business experts as prizes for eight regional winners and one overall win ner.
The competition comprises three phases. The first is a fullday workshop on how to compile a business plan. All elements of starting a business will be discussed, including financial management, marketing, legal considerations and employment issues.
In the second phase, participants are required to draft and submit a business plan, which a panel of judg es will evaluate.
The final phase is during Global Entrepreneurship Week, November 1317, 2017, where one of the regional winners will be named the national winner.
