Nam­biti Pri­vate Game Re­serve is sit­u­ated in a malaria-free zone, east of Lady­smith in KwaZulu-Na­tal – so there's no need for med­i­ca­tion. It is also the only game re­serve in the area that can boast of hav­ing the Big 5 (lion, ele­phant, buf­falo, leop­ard, and White/Black rhi­noc­eros), along with 40 other game species. Less than an hour away from Nam­biti, the ma­jes­tic Drak­ens­berg Moun­tain Range - a World Her­itage Site - of­fers nu­mer­ous ad­ven­ture ac­tiv­i­ties, in­clud­ing hik­ing, quad bik­ing, white wa­ter raft­ing, 4×4 trails, moun­tain bik­ing, horse rid­ing, canopy tours, rock climb­ing, kayak­ing and fly fish­ing.

To wind-down af­ter your ad­ven­ture ex­cur­sions, there are nine lux­u­ri­ous game lodges on Nam­biti, in­clud­ing six 5-star game lodges and one mag­nif­i­cent el­e­vated tented camp, with fa­cil­i­ties rang­ing from self cater­ing to the pam­pered, in­clud­ing spa treate­ments.
