Banana and honey smoothie bowl
Serves: 2 Prep time: 10mins
250ml Greek yoghurt 30ml honey
2 frozen bananas 60ml cereal like Futurelife or Pronutro 30ml dried pear 60ml fresh orange juice
15-30ml peanut butter 1ml ground cinnamon (optional)
Toppings: Toasted muesli, sliced bananas, honey, sliced dried pear, crushed peanut brittle, edible flowers.
Process the ingredients in a blender until smooth. Pour into bowls. Top with topping ingredients. Eat immediately.
WHY IT’S GOOD FOR YOU:
This is a very good introduction to smoothie bowls, especially for children.It’s delicious and filling, and instead of being just a bowl of cereal, this bowl contains fruit, dairy, protein and fibre.
