Crystal raises money for her jewellery line by selling exclusive items from her closet. And Amoy struggles to get her new salon staff up to scratch. how have you adjusted to being part of the homeland family? the interesting part is that they changed where they are, not just in terms of where they’re shooting but also in the story, to pakistan. this is a big change. adapting to it was easy because the show’s already so good. it’s running internationally and it’s such a great thing to be part of. can we expect any action from your character? he gets to do quite a bit of action. and it’s really fun and really challenging. there is always action in homeland – the great thing is that you never know when it’s going to happen. and have you been exploring cape town? i’ve never been to south africa. it’s a great place – i love it. i haven’t had time to explore as much because i also have to work unfortunately, but i’ve had a couple of great outings. i went on a tour of the gardens, wineries and hout bay, and i was able to walk up lions head, which was great. but when i get off, i want to go on safari and check out the garden route. so what tv series do you like? homeland is amazing. i like game of thrones (2011current) a lot and breaking bad (20082013) was simply terrific! and you’ve worked before with laila robins, who plays your wife martha, right? i met laila 30 years ago when i got my first job at the longworth theatre and laila was graduating from yale university. so i met her at the theatre. and it’s still funny that we meet up again 30 years later and i’m playing her husband.
