Suffocate and Niki get to hold their baby for the first time and agree to name her Busisiwe, which means “Blessing”. Puleng finds more muti at her mom’s place as the new parents bring their baby to her home, and Miles loses it when Lu admits that she told Zolani about the tumour. Victoria’s more concerned as Miles’s erratic behaviour gets worse, and Lerato makes a move on S’bu. Then Suffo and Niki throw a party for their baby and everyone’s there, including Cuba. News of Cuba and Niki’s altercation spreads, and Miles begins to realise that he can’t trust anyone in his life and decides that he’s better off without them as he says goodbye to his beloved company Redemption Records. Then Gail launches a character attack on Bongani as a way to get back at S’bu but Bongani’s sudden fame tempts Zondi into another deal. After witnessing a public spat between Lerato and Gail, David pulls Lerato back in line. Meanwhile, Mamokete’s worried about how Rose and Sis Bee have turned against Cuba and she asks the pastor to mediate in the hopes of healing the rift between the church ladies. Emotions are running high in the community, while S’bu worries about whether Bongani will turn up for his gig or leave him looking like a fool. Lerato tries to find out why Gail is so important to David but he puts her in her place again. Cuba is worried about how her troubles are affecting Puleng, while Suffocate’s worried about how the trouble will affect his business.
