Lerumo tried to get Thuli and Ndalamo fired, Nonny and James part­nered up as he tried to re­claim his for­mer glory as a dance champ, and Teboho’s case was thrown out of court fol­low­ing her mis­car­riage.

21 – 23 Jan­uary

Azwin­dini and Ndalamo fight over Thuli and how the sit­u­a­tion should’ve been han­dled, while the Muk­w­evhos pre­pare for a her­itage cel­e­bra­tion. Hang­wani and Ndalamo call a truce in a bid to put the past be­hind them. Busi re­fuses to get a job for the hol­i­days, while Nonny has a fight with James be­cause of his at­ti­tude. Ntha­be­leng doesn’t agree that Busi should be given what she’s asked for and she tells James, and Ndalamo is both­ered by a dream that he had about his late dad Al­bert.

26 – 30 Jan­uary

Mulim­isi has a mes­sage for Ndalamo but vis­its Azwin­dini first. Than­daza walks in on James and Nonny and isn’t im­pressed, and Busi’s change of at­ti­tude wor­ries Ren­dani. James is de­ter­mined to carry on danc­ing de­spite his set­back and the dance com­pe­ti­tion yields sur­pris­ing re­sults. Ndalamo re­fuses to be­lieve that the an­ces­tors are try­ing to send him a mes­sage and ig­nores the signs, while an ex­cited Busi meets her pro­fes­sor at Chichi’s.

2 – 3 fe­bru­ary

Busi meets her pro­fes­sor again for cof­fee, un­aware that her fa­ther’s around. James takes dras­tic steps to pro­tect Busi, and Ndalamo re­fuses to come home as his life spins out of con­trol. And Than­daza wants to hon­our her gran, but Mankosi’s fu­ri­ous when Than­daza asks about a past she wants to for­get.
