Staying put

Here’s the lowdown on some of the musical chairs being played over at Generations – The Legacy.

TV Plus (South Africa) - - YOU ASK -

Please clear this up, tvplus: are Gadaffi and Tau leaving Generations or not? All these rumours! – REBECCA, FACEBOOK While various reports claim actor Vuyo Dabula (Gadaffi) has agreed to stay with the show, it seems this simply isn’t the case. When we asked Generations publicist Gaaratwe Mokhethi, she neither confirmed nor denied the claims. “We haven’t confirmed that he’s not leaving. We’re treating this as an allegation,” she says. But Vuyo tells a different story when we gave him a call. “I’m still off the show,” he says. Looks like we’ll just have to wait and see… Meanwhile, fan-fave Tau (Rapulana Seiphemo) is definitely here to stay. The actor has just signed on for another year with the show, while Vusi Kunene is apparently returning to Generations as the evil Jack Mabaso. Vusi, who’s currently playing Bhekifa on Isibaya, is said to be doing both roles simultaneously and Mzansi Magic’s confirmed that he’s not leaving Isibaya. NB! More on p14.

Tau (Rapulana Seiphemo) is going nowhere and Jack Mabaso (Vusi Kunene) is back on Generations… … but as for Gaddafi (Vuyo Dabula), even he doesn’t seem to know

what’s happening.
