FEBRUARY: NKOSINATHI’S GONE AGAIN!
Lindiwe’s got Mxolisi firmly under her thumb, and Ayanda suspects that Mxolisi knows more about Nkosinathi’s disappearance than he’s letting on. Elsewhere, Mondli keeps a close watch on Mxolisi as he and Detective Dhlomo go in search of the missing boy. The community comes out in support of the Mdletshes as Nkosinathi’s disappearance hits the press, and Mondli’s questioning makes Mxolisi sweat so much that he suggests to Lindiwe that he flee KwaMashu. Lindiwe calls in expert help from an old friend, and Samukelisiwe (Zimiphi Biyela) suggests that Zandile perform a cleansing ritual. Hlengiwe later has strange dreams about the Mdletshes.
MARCH: LINDIWE’S NEW MAN
Ayanda is shocked by Hlengiwe’s interpretation of Zandile’s dream, and a clue pops up linking Nkosinathi to the panelbeaters. Zandile begs Lindiwe to tell her where Nkosinathi is, Lindiwe’s purse empties as the panelbeater staff flee, and mysterious newcomer Zakhele (Mfana Jones Hlophe) breezes into town, setting Lindiwe’s romantic heart fluttering. Zandile is devastated when the police call off the search for Nkosinathi and she kicks one of her sons out of the house. Lindiwe and Nosipho are shocked by Lindiwe’s deal with the devil, while Sma wants to bring the choir back to life and makes a few new famous friends. Zakhele and Lindiwe embark on the first job of their criminal partnership, and the Mdletshes are called to the hospital. Zandile thinks that she’s tracked down Nkosinathi, only to finally accept his death after an arrest is made, while Lindiwe receives devastating news from prison.
