FEBRUARY: GUESS WHO’S BACK?
After a touch-and-go wedding, John decides that having Mangaliso in his life has put Leeto in all sorts of trouble and now that his son’s in hospital after being shot, John puts his foot down and demands Mangaliso put an end to their friendship. Meanwhile, Principal Thobakgale is shocked to learn that Elizabeth is under police guard because her shooter is connected to Mangaliso and his friend. Principal Thobakgale then makes sure that Elizabeth and Mangaliso are over for good, and Mangaliso’s left mourning both his friend and his lover. Enhle’s keen to get back with Tbose but Kwaito doesn’t want to help her in her efforts, so she goes it alone with heart-breaking consequences, especially when Tbose realises that she still cares about her ex Sakhile. Kwaito’s worried when he hears that his enemy Lelo (Amanda du-Pont) has escaped from prison but it’s soon discovered to be a mistake: she’s been moved to another facility and is still behind bars. Elsewhere, Ma’Kunutu has tough decisions to make as the birth of her child draws closer and Alfred’s no longer there.

Ma’Kunutu is shocked by Alfred’s behaviour and realises that she has to prepare for a tough custody battle for her unborn child against Alfred and his wife. Charles and Nimza aren’t pleased by the news and prepare for battle with Alfred, while Lelo makes herself at home and begins a new adventure, but life behind bars isn’t smooth sailing when a new cellmate joins her. Later, when Lelo falls ill, no one expects the diagnosis to be a life- changing one and Mangaliso becomes tangled in Lelo’s web of lies all over again as it seems that her pre-incarceration wish has come true but it couldn’t have come at a worse time… Then there’s an attempted escape that rocks Hatfield prison, while Mangaliso’s life is dealt with several blows all at once. Molahlegi’s plan isn’t going as well as she had hoped, and Alfred begins to doubt his hopes of a happy ending with her and his new baby. Elizabeth starts her new life in a wheelchair, and Rachel finally gets into Kwaito’s inner circle.
