The spotlight is nothing new for reality show Face Off (2011-current) presenter McKenzie Westmore. Her dad Michael and grandpa Monte were among Hollywood’s best make-up artists, while her claim to fame is playing Sheridan Crane in supernatural soapie Passions (19992008), which she says “was a lot of fun. I have a lot of good memories”. Luckily McKenzie hasn’t lost touch with the make-up world…
In April 2015 she launched her 1
make-up business The Westmore Beauty Collection, which makes getting that Hollywood look “a little easier”.
The 39-year-old rides horses and 2
is a certified personal trainer who “specialises in kickboxing, yoga and personal training aerobics”.
To top it off, she’s an ordained 3
minister. She made the announcement in August 2015 on Twitter with the post: “as u can see in #FaceOff100 I am now an ordained minister! I can marry, baptize, absolve sin, you name it!” She was asked to marry couples in the 100th episode of Face Off, in 2015.
Music is another thing that she is 4
fond of. “I love music. I was singing opera since I was seven, but my voice seems to really fit country,” she says.
She also knows how to connect 5
with the younger crowd, thanks to her 10-year-old son: “I’ll play videogames with my son Maddox, we both love playing Mine Craft,” she laughs.
Maddox is from McKenzie’s mar6
riage to musician Keith Volpone, whom she met on the set of Passions in 2002 and married the same year. The couple divorced in 2011 and she met her second hubby, production designer Patrick Tatopoulos, during his stint as a judge on Face Off (from 2011 to 2014). They married in October 2015.
