Howlingly hot viewing
A werewolf’s bite is worse than its growl, but these TV beasts are barking cool on ShowMax.
From left: Teen Wolf’s Scott, True Blood’s Alcide and Once Upon A Time’s Red Riding Hood. Lock the doors and load your silver bullets – when there’s a full moon, the crazies come out. And we’re talking about the half-man (or woman), half-wolf kind. But in recent years, being hairy, having fangs and transforming into a werewolf has become a pretty cool superpower on fantasy and horror shows. So why should you join internet TV service ShowMax and watch series like Teen Wolf (2011current, four of its six seasons so far are currently available on ShowMax)? For these wonderfully wolfie reasons…
SEXY BEASTS
Vampires are pale, witches wear cloaks (plus they might turn you into a frog if you’re not careful) and demons usually have skin conditions so frightening that they make acne look like a mild rash. Werewolves, on the other paw, are hot and hairy (for the most part). Like Teen Wolf’s Scott and Derek (Tyler Posey and Tyler Hoechlin), who deserve a wolfwhistle for their good looks, toned torsos and chiselled jaws. And let’s not forget foxy Ruby Lucas aka Red Riding Hood (Meghan Ory), who is actually a werewolf in fairytale-themed show Once Upon A Time (2011- current, three of its six seasons are on ShowMax).
