Tyson’s re­turned to The Deep, along with a venge­ful side­kick.

Busi­ness­man Tyson (Shona Fer­gu­son) has been on the warpath in Hori­zon Deep since he ar­rived in the min­ing town ear­lier this year to find out what hap­pened to his sis­ter Katlego Sibeko (Kgomotso Christo­pher). After leav­ing in late Au­gust with­out the an­swers that he was des­per­ately seek­ing, Tyson is back on Fri­day 28 Oc­to­ber and he’s not alone… he’s brought his wife!


Tyson is ready to hunt down his shady busi­ness­man brother-in-law Lin­coln (Lin­dani Nkosi) for mur­der­ing Katlego. And tak­ing the role of Kgothalo is an ac­tress whom soapie fans know all too well: Katlego Danke, who played Di­neo on Gen­er­a­tions (1994-2014). “At this point, Kgothalo is in Hori­zon Deep to sup­port her hus­band in his quest. She knows more or less about Katlego’s death,” ex­plains ac­tress Katlego.

Tyson wants ev­ery sin­gle de­tail of how his sis­ter was killed and to make Lin­coln pay for his crimes, whether it’s be­hind bars or on his knees be­fore him. But to do that, Tyson knows that he Will Katlego be avenged? Kgothalo doesn’t play games – and her hubby knows that.

needs ev­i­dence and noth­ing’s go­ing to stand in his way from get­ting it on Wed­nes­day 2 Novem­ber. But while he’s off dig­ging for dirt, Kgothalo has her own busi­ness to keep her busy – and The Deep is the per­fect place for her to tackle her projects that in­volve min­ing. “She runs a mine tech com­pany and keeps her­self busy with her work while she’s wait­ing for Tyson,” ex­plains Katlego. “She doesn’t nec­es­sar­ily want to be in Hori­zon Deep and she makes sure that her hus­band is aware of that.” Kgothalo draws the line on Fri­day 4 Novem­ber and tells Tyson that he’s not to leave her alone or it’s over be­tween them.
