Former child actress Kylie Bunbury loved her time on thriller series Twisted (20132014), but she considers playing groundbreaking baseball pitcher Ginny Baker “a dream come true” in Pitch (2016-current). “I feel this large amount of pressure and I’m just trying to be a good actress,” she says.

prepare her for her new role, says Kylie. “I had to live like a pro athlete, so I’m doing Epsom salt baths, icing myself, eating well… The biggest thing is the workout. Three to four days a week I was boxing, three or four days a week I was pitching… Real deal over here!”

2011 Disney movie Prom. “I didn’t know what I was doing. I had no idea how to act. It was purely instinctual,” she says. “I just remember the first scene I did and the first take feeling so right. That’s when I knew I wanted to do this.”

Kylie is running around with her dog Ziggy – she loves posting photos of him to her Instagram page @kyliebunbury and says that “he keeps me grounded and reminding me of what’s most important in life”.
