Season 1 History (*186) 20:30 Reality Rockstar Ozzy Osbourne and his son Jack are taking a merry tour of mayhem in their new show Ozzy & Jack’s World Detour (2016-current). “It’s been crazy,” says 30-year-old Jack, who made his first TV appearance in reality show The Osbournes (2002-2005) with his family. “But it’s been a good laugh. We went gold panning and then they wanted us to film more and my dad was like, ‘Oi, I’m busy panning for gold!’”

The British father and son hit the road across the UK and US during their 10-episode trek to learn more about their history and where the Osbournes come from, while also stopping off at historical sites like the Alamo… which had 67-year-old Ozzy a little worried. He was banned from the Texas war memorial after drunkenly urinating on it while wearing a floral dress in 1982 and Jack explains that “we warned the producers – when you go to the Alamo, everything’s going to happen! And it did… it was like a riot. Thirty years ago, people wanted to kill my dad. Now they’re there because they love him!”

And while making the show has been a bonding experience for Jack and Ozzy, it’s been an absolute blast for Ozzy, literally. “I was born in 1948 and as kids we’d play in bombsites. I’ve always been interested in war and stuff like that,” says Ozzy. Which is why he had fun firing a tank cannon in episode 3 (15 November) – “It was like a big firecracker. Like a deep concussion!” It’s not just war toys that the pair are interested in either – they heard a rumour that their ancestors were among the first British colonial settlers in the US and they wanted to know more, with executive producer Jack adding that “we’ve just had a lot of fun, just my dad and me… and millions watching at home!”
