Like her character, Zoe’s mother has passed on but Zoe says that “I know she’s watching me wherever she is”. And Zoe is proud of her new role, adding that “the house came to a standstill – when it was 8pm, we stopped whatever we were doing and we watched Generations (19942014). It’s an amazing feeling to have joined the soap and I’m hoping that I’ll be here for a while still”. As much as she loves acting, Zoe’s first love was music when she was growing up in Richards Bay, Kwa-Zulu-Natal. “It branched into acting but I still love singing,” says the mom of two – she has five-year-old son Awande with sports presenter Robert Marawa and one-year-old daughter Lulo with famed music producer Lebo M.
