The Sibekos’ power has been on the wane ever since Katlego’s (Kgomotso Christopher) bones were discovered in a mineshaft in September 2016. Her murderer hubby Lincoln (Lindani Nkosi) was arrested on Friday 2 December and the cops hauled him off in front of his daughter Nikiwe (Linda Sokhulu) at the Sibeko Gold offices. Lincoln is released on Wednesday 21 December under police watch and he lashes out at Nikiwe, accusing her of being weak and tipping off the cops. Lincoln is wary of potential witnesses that the cops may call to testify in January and February 2017 – especially Nikiwe. “Her loyalty no longer lies with Lincoln,” explains Linda. “She is finished helping her dad look good in the public eye and business world.” Nikiwe isn’t Lincoln’s only problem – on Tuesday 3 January, lead detective Eddie (Paul Buckby) and journalist Calvin (Maurice Paige) are keeping an eye on Lincoln to see if he slips up. If only they knew that Nikiwe knew all his dirty secrets and that she could be easily turned…
