Ed’s letter
Wow! What an incredibly busy two weeks it’s been for us at tvplus! Besides the fabulous new shows starting – like e.tv soapie Broken Vows (p23) and Mzansi Magic telenovela Isithembiso (p22) – there have been major shifts at a number of channels on our screens. e.tv, for example, is adding a new channel dedicated to soapie repeats on its OpenView HD platform (read about it on p8 and even win an OpenView decoder). SABC3 has brought back Survivor (p30) at long last and best of all, they’ve also shifted Days Of Our Lives earlier (to 22:30… see p25). There’s bad new for DStv viewers though – they’re dropping their Edge and Family channels from April, but the good news is that their shows are being added to the M-Net channel, so you won’t miss anything. But if you’re still feeling a little down in the dumps after that, do yourself a favour and check out The Mick (p36). Mickey is my new hero and she’s so bad as an aunt that it’s brilliant!
