It will never be the same. I’m in the process of mourning the show itself. I think that will take longer to mourn, to kind of know what the show was for me and how it fits into TV history.”
Hinting that iconic sitcom The Fresh Prince Of Bel-Air (1990-1996) is getting a reboot? That’s what fans are begging for after Will Smith and his co-stars popped up online in this mini-reunion photo 21 years after the show ended. Alfonso Ribeiro, who played Carlton, posted the snap on his Instagram account with the caption “Always amazing to spend an afternoon with my Fresh Prince Family. Wishing that James Avery was still with us to make this complete”. James, who played Uncle Phil, passed away in 2013 due to complications from open-heart surgery. Laurel Lance and her alter ego Black Canary might’ve been killed off in season 4 of action sci-fi show Arrow (2012-current), but that doesn’t mean actress Katie Cassidy has left. The shows executive producer Marc Guggenheim says that “we were so taken by Katie’s fearless interpretation of this character that we knew her story was not yet finished.” She will return as a regular in season 6 in 2018.
