Tladi finds evidence that he didn’t rape Pula but Mmamosa has other plans for her son to get his justice. Mmamosa also tries to steal the spotlight from Jade and Eshe by offering to pay for their wedding and any traditions such as lobola. Jade has an uneasy feeling about Mmamosa’s offer and worries that there is an ulterior motive, and Justice has trouble accepting that his best friend Pieter is transitioning into a woman named Jacqueline. Justice and Jacqueline meet up at the bar where Jacqueline makes a moving declaration about being transgender, and Warona is kidnapped. Meanwhile, Lehasa tries his luck at gambling.
SEPTEMBER
Ashanti makes her engagement to Tladi public, only to discover that her fiancé is in love with her sister Botho. Justice is addicted to gambling and Mmamosa uses it to her advantage, dangling her ASA gym shares in front of his nose. Lebona is driven over by a car while out running, and Justice and Warona’s argument leads to the married couple sleeping in separate bedrooms. Later, Botho discovers that Justice isn’t her biological father, and Pula finds some closure.
OCTOBER
Sara hijacks Jade’s farewell party, and Eshe provokes Sara as part of her plan to stop Sara’s drama. Everyone at the gym realises how insecure Sara is as her true colours shine through, and Botho finds her late mother’s diaries. While reading the journals, Botho discovers that her mom was going to leave her “dad” Justice for a lover named “X” on the day of her death and Botho confronts Justice. Justice lashes out at Botho, while Ashanti finds Justice’s will – and his entire estate is being left to Botho!
