TV Plus (South Africa) - - YOU ASK -

Saying that 2018 has had a rough start is like saying that the kidnapped trio in 7de Laan don’t need to worry about their situation on p26. While it’s probably looked down upon, sometimes you just need a good cry – and thanks to no shortage of drama and heartache on some of the shows we’re watching, I’ve always got an excuse to have puffy eyes and a red nose. How can you not feel sorry for Zikhona in drama series Ingozi – her future has been ripped from her hands by a drunk driver as season 2 kicks off and she’s in a wheelchair (see p38). And don’t even get me started on zombie series The Walking Dead – it’s back on our screens for the second half of season 8. How can a horror show make me sob, you ask? Fans have been invested in Carl Grimes and his dad Rick for eight seasons and the teen has been bitten by a Walker. Just one look at sad Rick is enough to get tears flowing. Find out more on p63. *sob*

Carl and Rick are going their separate ways in The Walking Dead.
