Sly media mogul Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) has an itchy bite from a pest that he just can’t get rid of right now – Spectra Fashions, whose office is smack in the middle of where he is planning to build a skyscraper. Bill has tried being civil but since he is getting nowhere, he takes the nasty low-blow route on Friday 30 March and sabotages Spectra’s first fashion show. We called Don at his home in LA to get the scoop on Bill’s evil plans.

TRASHY CIRCUS

“To him, the Spectras is trash, a travelling circus and they have to fail,” says the actor, adding that “Bill plans to put them out of business quickly”. He starts scheming on Thursday 29 March while Sally (Courtney Hope) and her team are oblivious to the threat. Bill’s plan includes seedy fashion reporter Jarrett Maxwell (Andrew Collins), who he’s made sure will be the only reporter covering Spectra’s event. And with “Jarrett writing the review, no one can point a finger of blame at Bill,” laughs Don. “It’s perfect!”

FASHION FAUX PAS

Sally knows that the show isn’t going to match the Forrester Creations standard – they’ve got almost no cash, so they’re hosting it in their office space on Friday 30 March. But she is expecting more than just one reporter, teases Courtney over the phone. Jarrett seems impressed as Sally tells him that the designs are “loud, flashy, fierce and one-ofa-kind”, but that doesn’t translate to thumbs-up review on Monday 2 April. “Sally has no idea how they’ve fallen so flat on their faces,” sighs Courtney. But she has a word of warning for Bill: “He may think this is the end of them, but you don’t kick a Spectra down and not expect them to kick back with a bang!”
