Canterbury assets to go under hammer
CLAREMART Auction Group has been instructed to sell the previous head office and warehouse of Canterbury South Africa by auction.
According to CEO Jonathan Smiedt, his group received instruction from C P van Zyl of Progressive Administration (Cape), the joint provisional liquidator in the matter of Lakeside City Trading 1 3 7 , t h e h o l d i n g c o mp a n y which owned the Canterbury premises in Cape Town.
On auction is 35 Brickfield Road in Woodstock, a 5 800m² warehouse and factory area under a vaulted roof, with airextraction and staff facilities.
The property includes 1 200m² of A-grade office space, which includes a boardroom. Ample off-street parking and roller access to two points is provided.
Movable assets, which include vehicles, factory equip- ment and furniture, will be sold separately on the same day.
The investment property and movables will be auctioned on site on Wednesday, September 2, at noon.
The property can be viewed on Thursday and on Wednesday, August 26, between noon and 3pm.
