Fan’s cheesy hat trick

Weekend Argus (Saturday Edition) - - NEWS -

MADISON, Wisconsin: Mansfield Neblett wanted to wear his “cheesehead” hat to President Barack Obama’s speech in the “dairy state”, but Secret Service agents told him the yellow hat shaped like a wedge of cheese was a security risk.

Neblett, 46, told them he’d skip the speech. The agents relented and Neblett took his place.

Before Obama took the stage, someone representing him asked Neblett if the president could sign his hat. Neblett handed it over.

“I’m going to sell it on eBay!” Neblett said with a smile. – Sapa-AP
